Hello! It’s smoothie time here in this household!! Special post of 3 amazing smoothies to boost you in the morning to be the best you can be!
The three smoothies I am sharing today is our favorite go to smoothies…and one of them is even a smoothie bowl!!! Ahhhh so much fun!
Mornings our very important in our life as I expressed in this previous post here.
Word of advice….don’t ever skip your breakfast!!!
First one I am showing is the bright fresh green smoothie that is super easy ( they all are) and really nice to spruce up your morning routine with your typical green smoothie. Pineapple is one of my most favorite items to add to a smoothie. This morning I had some leftover pineapple in the fridge and was really excited to add it to our green smoothies! It creates a light, sweet, taste to a smoothie and I really do believe it helps promote vision! After this smoothie my eyes are as bright as the sun and I seem to see everything a new light.
And ta da!! It’s my husband’s favorite too!
Green Smoothie with a Twist
- 1 banana
- 1 cup of greens
- 1 cup of pineapple
- 2 cups of water
Second is my personal favorite…a strawberry banana smoothie! Call me an oldie but these guys just hit the spot! I created this on a morning I was having period symptoms…period cravings…so I needed something sweet. This tasted so good it should have been bad but it wasn’t!
I added two whole bananas for creaminess and almond milk and ice for even more creaminess. Then of course strawberries to top it off. I typically always go to water and ice but like I said…I needed something to hit the spot and the almond milk really did it in for me.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 cup of strawberries
- 2 cups vanilla almond milk
Third on the list is a sweet and almost tart blackberry smoothie bowl….You can make this so pretty! I really like smoothie bowls and I am also very new to them. They are a trend at the moment and after this one I understand why. Smoothie bowls are simply..a smoothie…in a bowl….but what is fun with these is you can add toppings and swoosh them around in the bowl as if it was cereal. In this one I did chia and frozen berries. Something I would like to try on a smoothie bowl is adding some granola….food for thought!!!

So there ya have it…start your day off on the right foot with one of these beauties and you will be sure to have a smile on your face for the rest of the day!
