Been working on some pretty serious stuff behind the scenes of Mrs. Gannon Gourmet and I am just so excited to share it all with you soon!!! Like…I am so incredibly excited and can’t wait for it to be done biting my nails excited! Yeah, that’s some pretty serious stuff right?
Well you, and me, are just gonna have to sit tight and hang in there. The wait will be worth it, I promise. At least that’s what they say:)
So anywho, let’s get down to business. AKA food. Today I have a really tasty drink for ya that is hoppin with anti cancer agents and super foods for your body. Great when your immune is down to perk your blood cells up:)
The golden milk.
Golden Milk Goodness.
Milk that looks like gold, or milk that has nutrients worth gold? Philosophy for another time, eh:)
This “Golden milk” has been booming around on pinterest and I decided to give it a try. I was a little leery about it at first and I know you will be too…or maybe you’re more adventurous than I was at the moment or what have you but I did try it.
Pat myself on the back there.
And I wouldn’t be sharing it on the blog unless I approved or thought it would be worth sharing. So here it is…
It was….interesting tasting….almost pretty good? Haha did I sell ya?:)
No this stuff was really good and I had good feelings and moods following, which I like to think is my body thanking me for the boost.
- 1 cup of vanilla almond milk
- 1 tsp of honey
- 1 1/2 tsp of turmeric
Make sure to continue to stir until most clumps are out!
And it’s pretty soooo go crazy ya’ll!
Some stuff at the home front that I would love to share with you is I am wanting to get into sweets. Vegan baking is a lot of fun and it’s usually (not always) pretty easy simple ingredients that turn out to be pretty freaking epic. Lots of varieties out there and it’s a new chapter I would like to start culinary wise.
This month I have been into not so good for you foods like the chemicalized hazardous oreo cookies… excuse the melodramatic feels. I just spent two hours playing princess with my princess…but anyway I am trying to get creative rather than caving into that sort of spectrum with foods. I always feel lethargic afterwards and that “yuck” feeling.
So yeah, I am hoping to have a lot more desserts on here than usual. The only ones I have to date on this bloggy blog is the cheesecakes which were a serious hit for this family and I got really good reviews from you guys.
Hopefully next time I have something a bit sweeter for ya;)
