So today is Matcha Tuesday! Goes better if it was a monday but what about Matcha everyday eh?
Oh and that hue of green just makes me swoon!
I am a newbie on the matcha bus. I just gave it a whirl a couple of weeks ago and was astonished ( in an amazing way) with both the taste and how I felt afterwards. It was better than coffee, did I just say that, when it came for me running around afterwards to clean the home, catching up on errands, oh and raising a toddler who could seriously give the track athletes a run for their money. Matcha Tea made it all feel like a breeze. The amount of good healthy energy I obtained from a single drink thoroughly impressed me to say the least.
For those of you who are also new to Matcha, you aren’t the only ones. I was wheeling around Evelyn and I in the health food store when I fell upon it and I felt compelled to buy it.
The ingredients and comments on the back showed me that one cup of matcha tea was equivalent to 10 cups of green tea and I was like ohhhhhhhh so I tossed it in the cart.
Then it was in my car on the way home.
Then it sat in my cupboard for two weeks.
Then I opened and tried my first cup.
Then I was running around.
Later that day I researched it and was seriously amazed that I hadn’t heard of matcha before. Green tea drinkers really need to look into this if they haven’t already because matcha could really help in circumstances that you want an extra umph in your day. Or for those who are looking for a good detox or something to motivate them (I need this right meow actually).
Ma-ch-a’ tea is literally the definition of powdered tea (left the “t” out on purposes for pronunciation FYI). Matcha tea is whole processed green tea leaf that is the only form of tea that you can use the whole leaf component for a variety of health benefits. This special tea speeds up the metabolism and gives the body a great feel of being a superhero, again….did I just say that.

I really do apologize for my motivational skills this past this month. To think I haven’t posted on this blog for almost a month makes me so sad and I promise I will try to not ever do that again. Something has been up with my life at the moment and it has left me drained and not willing to give effort in areas of my life that I need to.
